It was almost 20 years ago that I met Tom Brady. It was the year 2000. I had just graduated High School and was about to head off to college. Tom Brady had just finished college and was beginning his career in the NFL. To be honest, I never followed college football, and at that time I didn't know who Tom Brady was. But as soon as I met him I knew that this was no mere mortal, this was some type of super-human or alien type creature.

1/16/2019 0 Comments Get Your Hopes Up!Every time I return from the Kripalu center I feel much more hopeful and positive than usual. While I was there leading my Running For Yogis workshop I was lucky to speak with a bunch of interesting people. One of the themes of the week was hope, and whether it is good to be hopeful. After reflecting on the conversations I had I decided to share my thoughts in this video: 12/12/2018 0 Comments Almost Heaven Logan Indoor SaunaIt's a dream come true. A sauna in my house. When this article came out saying meditation may help veterans with PTSD I got extra excited. As a kid from the suburbs of Boston I grew up watching the "cursed" Red Sox lose year after year. I say cursed because throughout my childhood the always negative Boston sports media pushed the narrative that the Red Sox organization had been cursed since the 1920s because they traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees. It was called "the curse of the bambino" and it was the primary storyline for decades.
10/24/2018 2 Comments CatalystHello and welcome to Ryan Miller Yoga 2.0! I created Ryan Miller Yoga because, in general, I think we are pretty stressed out, and yoga is a terrific way to deal with stress. That was actually one of the first reasons people originally started doing yoga...they wanted to know how they could be less stressed. In addition to reducing stress, a big part of yoga is achieving peak performance. I got into yoga as a way to supplement my running training and ended up becoming a teacher and creating this website, and leading retreats like this one.
